Build Progress
Not sure what to pick? This can help!
Processor (CPU)
The processor is the brain of your computer. It handles everything from opening apps and browsing the web to video calls and multitasking. A faster processor means things open quicker and your system stays responsive even with lots going on.
Motherboard
— Select a motherboard...
The motherboard connects all your components together and determines which parts are compatible with your build. It provides the ports for your monitor, USB devices, networking, and storage — the foundation everything else plugs into.
Graphics Card (GPU) A dedicated GPU is optional for home builds. Integrated graphics handle email, web browsing, and office work. A GPU helps with video editing and creative tasks. We do not list specific manufacturers due to fluctuating availability.
Which option is right for you?

None (Integrated Graphics) — Uses the graphics built into your processor. Perfect for web browsing, email, streaming video, office work, and everyday use. If you're not doing anything visually demanding, this is all you need — and it saves money.

NVIDIA RTX 5060 (8GB) — A solid dedicated graphics card for people who want to do more than the basics. Great for photo editing, light video editing, casual gaming, and running multiple monitors smoothly. A nice step up without going overboard.

NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti (16GB) — Serious horsepower for creative work. If you're editing 4K video, working with 3D rendering, doing graphic design, or want to game at high settings, this card handles it all. The extra memory (16GB vs 8GB) makes a real difference with large files and heavy workloads.
Memory (RAM) 16GB is great for everyday tasks. 32GB is recommended for video editing or multitasking. We use high-quality memory from G.Skill, Corsair, Kingston, and Crucial.
RAM is your computer's short-term memory — it holds whatever you're actively working on. More RAM means you can have more browser tabs, documents, and apps open at once without things slowing down.
Primary Storage (OS Drive)
This is where your operating system, programs, and most-used files live. All options here are NVMe drives — they're extremely fast, so your computer boots in seconds and apps open almost instantly.

How much space do you need?

500GB — Enough for the operating system, office apps, a web browser, and a moderate collection of files. A good fit if you'll also be adding a secondary drive for extra storage.

1TB — The sweet spot for most people. Plenty of room for all your programs, photos, documents, and media without worrying about running low any time soon.

2TB — Best if you have a large photo or video library, lots of applications, or just want to never think about storage space.

WD Blue SN580 vs Samsung 990 EVO? Both are reliable, quality drives. The Samsung is a bit faster in benchmarks, but in everyday use the difference is minimal. Either is a great choice.
Secondary Storage (Files & Media)
A second drive gives you dedicated space for photos, documents, music, videos, and backups — keeping your main system drive from filling up. This is optional, but it's a great way to stay organized and ensure you always have room.

SATA SSD vs NVMe?

SATA SSD (WD Blue) — Available in 500GB to 4TB. These are solid, reliable, and fast enough for storing and accessing files, photos, videos, and documents. The most cost-effective way to add a lot of extra space.

NVMe (WD Blue SN580 / Samsung 990 EVO) — Significantly faster than SATA. Worth it if you regularly work with large files (like video projects or big photo libraries) and want things to load and transfer as quickly as possible.

How much space? 500GB–1TB is fine if you mostly store documents and photos. 2TB+ is better if you have a large media library or want room to grow without upgrading later.
Case
— Select a case...
The case houses and protects all your components. It affects how quiet your computer runs and how much airflow reaches your hardware. A good case keeps things cool, tidy, and looking great.
Cooling Home builds run cooler than gaming PCs. A quality air cooler is usually all you need — quiet and efficient for everyday use.
— Select a cooler...
Your processor generates heat when working, and the cooler draws that heat away to keep performance steady. For a home PC, a quality air cooler runs quietly and requires zero maintenance.
Power Supply (PSU) Our technicians will select the ideal PSU brand and model for your specific build, ensuring optimal efficiency, cable management, and reliability. We use trusted brands like Corsair, Seasonic, and EVGA.
The power supply delivers electricity to every component. A quality, properly-sized PSU keeps your computer running reliably and quietly. It protects everything else in your build.
Operating System JNCS will install and configure your chosen OS. Selecting Linux (Bazzite) incurs an additional fee due to the extended setup required. Please note that while we handle initial installation, JNCS is not responsible for ongoing Linux support or software compatibility.
The operating system runs your computer and launches everything else. Windows 11 Home covers everything most people need. Pro adds features like drive encryption and remote desktop, mainly useful for business.
